Minutes of a Caradon Heritage Partnership committee meeting held at Liskeard on 2016-05-19. Readership is CHP members.

Accepted as accurate.

Event planning

The programme for Carnival Week was explained.

The programme for 26th July was discussed.

Two walks are planned one for Liskeard and one for Minions which will return in time to see the Man Engine.

Derris is still hoping for a band for the event (Callington Town Band was confirmed as performing at a later date).

There will be the following confirmed performances:

Traffic management will be by volunteers with training and experience to slow vehicles approaching Minions and directing through village to parking.

Parking will be the first field owned by James Bolitho.

First Aiders will be Tony Piper, Derris Watson, Brian Oldham and Anne Hughes.

Buckets will be shaken by Brigitte and Jack Mann, Sue Harbord, Alan Groves, Rachel Bennett and anyone else we can find.

Next meeting

Either 2016-07-14 or 2016-07-21 depending on room availability. The main agenda item being to discuss final details of the Man Engine visit.

AOB

Mr and Mrs Murnaghan attended the Cultural Atlas meeting with Cornwall 365 and reported that all the features we had asked to be were highlighted. He explained how this will enable a map of all the activities and features to be produced in various formats.
