Minutes of the Caradon Heritage Partnership AGM help at Liskeard on 2017-11-30, closing at 21:28Z. Readership is public.
The meeting took place after a presentation by Brian Oldham entitled Historic Tales of Liskeard's Buildings.

The meeting was chaired by DW.

Previous minutes

The previous AGM Minutes were approved as accurate.

The outcome of the action regarding the Cornwall Heritage Trust was that we decided not to pursue it as there was no benefit to us in doing so.

Financial report

DW reported that we have £1702.04 in the bank account.

Some of this money is from book sales and reserved for project work but the exact value of this portion is unclear.
Action: DW to report the reserved amount.

Immediately pending changes are the donations from this meeting, amounting to £21.70 and the cost of the current web host which is £113.99.

Equipment report

IR was not present but had previously circulated the inventory and there were no reported changes to that.

Election of officers

PNJ was re-elected as Secretary (DW, RP).

DW was re-elected as Treasurer (RP, LS).

IR was re-elected as Equipment Officer (DW, RP). He had verbally volunteered to continue some days before the meeting.

Next meeting

DW suggested that the normal meeting schedule should be 3-monthly. It was agreed that the next meeting would be scheduled for somewhen near the end of 2018-02. When the agenda is circulated it will solicit ideas for the 2018 Festival of Archaeology.

The chair is to be BO.

AOB

  1. In the context of Caradon Heritage, DW said she expected that there would be further Heritage Action Zone funding rounds and that there had been some interest expressed when she'd spoken with Cornwall Council members on the subject. She will also attempt to discuss the issue with the Liskeard Town Council.

    AG said that he would attempt to discover the timing for another round.

  2. BO suggested that there could be a walk on 2018-01-01, possibly covering Rillaton Manor boundary stones.
